Day 18 Fondue and taboo

I almost made it before the next day today. I made cheese fondue with gruyere and it actually wasn't awful. I mean it was for the first half then the pot heated up properly and the cheese melted yummily like it's suppose to.

Waiting for my nails to dry and early training tomorrow, so short but sweet prompt.

Day 18: Come up with every possible way to describe something as "red," without using the word itself.

It's-it's... Gosh, I don't know what colour that is. It's bright, fire bright. In fact if you stare at the outer edge of a fire, and the glow it burns into the sky, it's that.

No, not quite actually. Let's try again. It's...it's... cherries. Cherry stained lips. A girl in a white dress, on a picnic blanket. Can you see that? Her first bite into a bursting cherry that explodes with juices. Can you see the juice dying her lips and spotting on her dress?

No, eh? Okay, let's try anger. You're a mother with your newborn. You're exhausted and overheated after a day out. You leave your baby in the carriage for a moment. You turn around to see a stranger roughly ripping your baby out from the carriage. Everything you see is coated in this haze and soon it's all you can see while you rage against the attempted kidnapper.

Still no, huh. Okay how's this. Look over there. See that flower? The rose, yeah, over there. No that one, the bud. See the one with the most contrast against the leafs? That's the one. That's the colour.

What's that? Red you say. Red then. Red flames, red lips, red haze, red rose.
